Lloydminster Sexual Assault Services’ mission is to improve the individual and communities’ response to violence through education, awareness and strong partnerships. We are committed to supporting the healing of all survivors of sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse and all forms of violence through crisis intervention services, advocacy and empowerment. LSAS’s ‘why’ stems from the belief that voices of survivors should be heard; that individual healing journeys are unique, and that every survivor and their family should be provided with a safe space to navigate the process. Ensuring a client-centered, anti-oppressive approach to services, the three divisions within the agency promotes positive growth, acceptance, partnership, and opportunity. Innovative approaches, education, awareness, and confidentiality form the foundation of programs and services offered. Whether a client is accessing counselling supports at LSAS, visiting Lilly’s Toy Room in Little Bear, or moving through mindful practices in North Ryken, our agency is a place of comfort and hope.
