Eligibility For youth, ages 12-19, whose lives have been negatively impacted by substance use or gambling. Clients aged 18-19 will be assessed on a case-by-case basis to ensure that they are functionally adolescent and that their treatment needs are best met by a youth treatment facility. Referral Needed Referrals to the Centre are made through an AHS Addictions Counsellor who will assess the youth for readiness. Service Access Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information. Referrals can be made by Outpatient Counselors and other allied professionals.
