Team CarePal is an app designed to help family caregivers manage and coordinate care for their loved ones who may be managing an illness, disability or aging needs. It provides an all-in-one management platform for sharing information among family members and friends. 

Team CarePal works by having a primary caregiver download the app from the app stores. They set up a community around the loved one they are caring for and invite their friends and family to join. Only the primary caregiver pays for the app, and the rest of the invited family and friends are free. The app has two kinds of users: Caregivers and community users. Caregivers get access to a few more private features that the rest of the community users don’t see, like the caregiver journal, adding announcements and creating appointments. The primary caregiver can elevate any member at any time to a caregiver status for collaboration and support at a more private level.

  • The ability to switch between different communities if you are a part of more than one.

Team CarePal can be downloaded from both the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store, making it accessible for users of both iOS and Android devices.

Yes, Team CarePal is designed to be used by multiple caregivers for the same loved one. It provides a platform for coordinating care and avoiding duplication of effort. The primary caregiver can invite anyone as a caregiver or elevate any community member at any time to a caregiver status for collaboration and support at a more private level.

Yes, Team CarePal is designed to help caregivers manage care from anywhere, making it a great option for long-distance caregiving.

Yes, Team CarePal takes security and privacy very seriously. 

  • We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) as our cloud platform. Because we use AWS, all the data is military grade security for data storage and usage.
  • Data in transit is also fully encrypted and not hackable in the time of transit. This means data going from your computer to the servers or vis versa is fully encrypted between the two points. All data is stored within North America. 
  • We are using Stripe as our payment processor and it has robust security measures to protect the data they handle, like using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology to encrypt payment information during transmission.

We are committed to reducing the harmful effects of spam and security threats. Our goal is to protect sensitive data to give customers a safe and efficient way to do business. To that end, we will comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL)  and The Personal Information Protection and Electronics Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Team CarePal’s mission is to ensure that no one cares alone, so we are offering to sponsor anyone that cannot afford the app. You just need to fill out the sponsorship application after you download the app.
