Sage’s Multicultural Seniors Outreach Program is a collaboration with the Multicultural Health Brokers Cooperative. This program began in 2006 to serve isolated, at-risk immigrant and refugee seniors.
This partnership works in 5 communities:
Kurdish
Korean
Spanish-speaking
Former Yugoslavia
Eritrean/Ethiopian
We have recently expanded to include Iraq, Somalia, and other Eastern European countries.
Seniors are able to do many more things on their own once they receive support in their communities. They become more active and know who to turn to for help when needed.
